Blade duration depends on what materials you cut AND how well you cut. Users who fail to adjust their blade length so that it doesn’t cut into the mat will find that their blades dull much sooner. That being said, I have a customer here in Phoenix with a mini-album business and she cuts from Bazzill cardstock almost every day and, when cutting, will cut for hours at a time. She told me she changes her blade once a month.

Depending on the size you need and the maximum cutting width of your cutter, you may be able to cut even the large arc without breaking it into parts (called tiling).

Now, one could also do a print and cut, but then you’d only need one overall trace line to surround the entire rainbow. The could be done using the Arc Edit function in the Edit Tools (pencil icon, third choice).
