I guess I changed the name of the video from COMPort.wmv to ComPort.wmv at some point. Anyhow, you will need to force the COM Port to a number less than 10. Even if Device Manager tells you that you can't, just do it anyhow. You aren't using all of the ones from 1 to 10 unless you happen to have 10 USB peripherals currently hooked up to your laptop! So, force it to be, say Com 5 or whatever and then set it in the software and you should be fine. If not, just email me. I am having a terrible time trying to establish communication between my KnK and my laptop. I'm not exactly illiterate when it comes to computers. I installed the KnK Studio software and driver. A new COM port appeared that says "USB Serial Port (COM12)". It does not have "CH340" as noted in the manual, however. Originally, I was getting a "Restricted Port" error when I attempted to cut.
